Welcome to one of the oldest and most reputable in Cyprus! Aquanaut Diving School, a family run business, was established in 1989 and has been running uninterrupted ever since. We take pride in offering hundreds of certified dives every year, all led by our experienced and passionate instructors who have inherited the knowledge of safe and relaxed diving from generations before.
As the only diving school in the Protaras area located directly on the water, we are perfectly situated on the stunning Green Bay beach, with all the necessary equipment and facilities right at our fingertips. Anyone aged 10 and older (there are options for ages 8-10 as well), with a reasonable level of physical fitness, comfortable in the water and a spirit for adventure.
Certain conditions my preclude those of any age from diving, temporarily or permanently, especially conditions associated with lung functions. As long as you maintain relatively good physical and mental conditioning, it’s never too late to learn scuba diving.

You should not fly within 24 hours of your last dive.

Courses are performance based, which means that you earn your certification when you demonstrate that you’ve mastered the required skills and knowledge. Because some learn faster than others, course duration varies. The Open Water Diver course can be completed in as little as three days.
