🧭 Course information
EANx or Nitrox as it’s commonly known amongst the diving community, is a gas mixture that has increased levels of oxygen. By using this mixture instead of normal air, divers can safely stay at certain depths for longer periods without exceeding their decompression limits.
As this mixture has more oxygen and therefore less nitrogen, the time that divers need to wait between dives is also decreased so I’m sure you can see why using this type of gas mixture during your dives can have a lot of benefits.
This course will teach you everything you need to know to be able to plan and safely execute dives using EANx. Upon completion of the course and the exam, you will receive your Nitrox recognition card. However you also have the option to experience two open water dives using EANx under the supervision of a NAUI instructor so you can become a fully qualified Nitrox Diver.
